Frequently Asked QuestionsWhen are worship services?
Services are Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Learn more about these services here. Our 10:00 a.m. service is also livestreamed and available Sunday afternoon on our Worship page. Do St. Christopher's clergy and staff offer times for meetings with individuals? The best way to ensure that one of our clergy or staff members is available to meet with you is to contact the church office at 317-846-8716 or the individual clergy or staff member to schedule an appointment. (Select Option 1 for staff and follow the prompts to reach members of our clergy and staff.) You may also email clergy and staff by selecting the individual on the Clergy and Staff page. How do I request a visit from one of the clergy for myself or a family member? Pastoral visits are an important part of St. Christopher's ministry. Our clergy are glad to call on parishioners to offer support and prayer in a variety of situations. These may include illness, surgery, childbirth, and the death of a family member. Visits can be made to hospitals or to the homebound. To request a pastoral visit, contact the church office at 317-846-8716, x11. If you know that you are going into the hospital, please call or email the church office or specific clergy to let them know. If your situation is not of an emergency nature, you may also email clergy by selecting the individual staff member on the Clergy and Staff page. How do I request prayer for myself or someone else? We welcome the opportunity to pray for you and for those you name. You may request prayer through direct contact with the church office at 317-846-8716, x11 or by email. How do I become a member of St. Christopher's? If you are new to the Episcopal Church, we encourage you to worship with us. If it feels right for you, please speak with the Rev. Cara Spaccarelli about your interest. Twice a year we have official New Member Welcomes. Classes are offered periodically about the Episcopal Church. If you are transferring from another Episcopal Church, please contact the church office to request a membership transfer form from our Parish Administrator by calling the church office at 317-843-8716, x11, or via email. How can I identify St. Christopher's ministries that would be of interest to me? There are many ways to be involved in and connect with the St. Christopher's community. You may find it helpful to actively participate in worship, formation (Christian Education), small groups (social or spiritual), and service as a way to become acquainted with the opportunities. Our Weekly News email and announcements link on the front page of the website will also keep you informed of current opportunities. You can sign up for our Weekly News with the tab on the right column of this page. Whom do I contact if I have a question or comment about St. Christopher's website? Please contact the church office at 317-846-8716, x11 or the Webmaster via email. |
