I have been a member of St. Christopher’s since 1987. My current involvement includes serving as Lector, Lector Coordinator, and volunteering with the lawn care team. I am a member of the Men’s Prayer Group. Areas of past involvement include: Rector Search Committee (2001), Men of Mission team leader (2005–07), Library Committee (2010-11), focus group leader (2011), and Capital Campaign Advance Gifts Chair (2012).
My wife Bunny and I have been married for 34 years. We have two sons, Tim (29) and Daniel (24). I was born in Florida, reared in Georgia, educated at DePaul University (Chicago), and have been a Hoosier since 1982. I was baptized in Miami; a past member of St. Mark’s (Dalton, Georgia); a founding family of St. Timothy’s (Calhoun, Georgia); former member and past Junior Warden at All Saint’s (Chicago). I am a 40-year association executive skilled in building worldwide membership organizations.
My personal vision: I want to learn from fellow parishioners how we can create greater awareness of the “thin threads” that connect us. I believe we can leverage technology to learn about the common interests we have and create opportunities to build “mini communities” which will attract and retain new members. As the community grows up around St. Christopher’s, we are uniquely positioned to spread the gospel as never before.
